Br.  Evangelist McCann in 1923 applied  to Calcutta university for affiliation to the Matriculation, Inter Arts and Inter Science.

In 1936 affiliation was given for the B.A. and B.T degrees and in 1960 for the B.Sc.

 

 

 

Br. Baptist Culhane

Br. Baptist Culhane was appointed Provincial in August, 1927, a role he held for 16 years.

During this time a number of young Brothers and boys were brought out from Ireland.

A study house was bought called “Arranmore”

Some of the Brothers who came out this way were Bernard Lyng, James O’Keefe, Ben Maher, Brendan Dineen and B.C. Morrow.

The last group of Postulants arrived in 1931.
